The House
Six Double Bedrooms - click here for more detail
Large Vaulted Kitchen - Range cooker with two double ovens. Dish washer, fridge freezer, wine fridge. Crockery / glasses for sixteen. Nespresso and filter coffee machines. Lots of pots / pans.
Dining Space - Two big sofas, large dining table, two sets of bi-fold doors.
Lounge - Two big sofas. Open fireplace (logs available on request)
TV room - 55” TV. Games console with numerous games for all ages.
Gym - Multi-gym, bike, rower and cross-trainer. Also has a back-up fridge for those big celebrations.
Children’s Playroom - Board Games, Jigsaws, Table Football, Dolls house, soft toys for younger children.
Snooker Room - three quarters size snooker table. Pool balls also available if snooker just makes your head hurt.
The estate
Outdoor heated swimming pool - a 11m x 5m heated pool with a pool house with shower room and full kitchen, plus a pizza oven, sun loungers and gas BBQ (subject to additional fee). There is an automatic hard cover on the pool which is open April-September inclusive.
Hot Tub - comfortably accommodates six people. Towels and plastic cups / wine glasses provided.
Patio Area - patio table to seat ten, large rattan sofa, two sun loungers.
Old Oak Tree - it’s been through a lot but, 400 years after it was first planted, it’s still going strong.
Charcoal BBQ - briquettes available on request

the countryside
West Somerset Railway - Over the majority of the year, steam trains run from Bishops Lydeard to Minehead. It's a beautiful old line and is a great trip for all the family.
Dunster Castle - a beautiful castle dating from the 14th century, this National Trust property can keep you entertained all day.
Beaches - West Somerset has some lovely beaches - Minehead, Weston-Super-Mare, Kilve to name but three. They aren't really for surfing but, on a sunny day, are great for swimming and sand castles.
Sheppys Cider Farm - one of the finest local cider makers, Sheppys has been making cider since 1816. You can tour the orchards, have some cake in the Tea Room and, most importantly, try some of the many ciders.
Local Pubs - Somerset is rightly famous for its pubs. They come in all shapes and sizes - some serve fantastic food, some serve fantastic beer and cider and some are just a beautiful place to spend a lazy afternoon.
Wookey Hole Caves - a lot more than just the caves these days, Wookey Hole provides a lot of varied entertainment and some amazing underground sights.
Walking / Riding - Exmoor and the Quantock hills provide some stunning scenery for exploring and getting up close and personal with the local flora and fauna.
