Grass Superhighway

For the last few years, we’ve been mowing the grass in the cherry orchard. Previously, the cows had wandered around, doing their own mowing and leaving their signature reminders on the ground. It had, to be honest, looked a bit shabby. Since we started mowing the grass, It has looked spectacular but, from an environmental point of view, it isn’t the greatest decision. We also have a public right of way across the orchard and it’s always good to encourage people to stick to the path. So we decided to solve both problems with a grass superhighway - leaving most of the grass uncut but giving a not-so-subtle hint to our local ramblers. Go wildflowers!
